Our handpainted checkerboards make a very nice complement to a den, family room or any room with country décor. We have two boards that are slightly different: Both checkerboards come with 12 barn-red checkers and 12 green checkers laced on a jute rope. There is a hanger on the back of the board so that it can be hung on the wall when not in use. These are great decorative pieces. #1 - This board has a painted red barn with black roof. It shows two birds flying, a tree, fencing and two sheep in the field. Below this scene is a checkerboard. It has a tan background with barn-red squares and green frame. It has been antiqued for an aged primitive look. #2 - The second checkerboard has a painting of two houses with sheep in front that are grazing.
